During the campaign, it is very clear that their desire is not to end a war as long as it is profitable. Since the Shinari Republic is more profit-oriented, they don't hesitate to choose a side which brings them more profit. The Shinari are a good race for experienced players to play, as they require a more strategic, less combat orientated game. If they cannot do this, their agents are not adverse to using sabotage as a means to an end. Because their devotion to trade, diplomacy and spying their military powers is not as strong as others and they prefer to settle arguments through diplomatic channels. They strongly believe that knowledge is power, and use a large network of agents to make sure they have as much knowledge as possible. The Shinari are taught the art of negotiation and bartering at an early age and subsequently make excellent diplomats and traders.
